Serial verb sentences

A serial verb sentence places two or more verb phrases under one subject without a conjunction. Their order normally follows the real sequence of events, or presents a method or movement before its purpose.

Structure

Subject + Verb 1 (+ Object 1) + Verb 2 (+ Object 2)

Subject + 去 / 来 + Place + Verb + Object

Subject + Method + Verb + Object
