About the project
Chinese Sentences is a noncommercial learning prototype. It turns a grammar explanation into short retrieval sessions: listen, read, recall, reveal, rate, repeat. Its 5,000+ review cards cover 506 AllSet grammar points plus independently written supplements, ordered from A1 through C1, with an extra group for unclassified material.

Try before revealing pinyin, translation, and the grammar note.
Your confidence rating chooses when the sentence returns.
Install Chinese Sentences from your browser for an offline-ready app shell, saved review progress, personal sentence lists, and the complete local study corpus. Sentence and phrase cards use one consistent AI-generated Mandarin voice. Audio is cached after first play, and the current study selection can be downloaded before going offline.
Content & license
The grammar catalog and adapted review material come from the AllSet Learning Chinese Grammar Wiki. They are used under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 3.0 license.
Word pinyin and English definitions are adapted from CC-CEDICT under CC BY-SA 4.0.
This means the adapted content must remain noncommercial, credit AllSet Learning, link to the license, note changes, and be shared under the same license. AllSet also asks that its full linked name appear wherever its content is shown; Chinese Sentences keeps that attribution with each grammar group and on every reference page.
Original practice sentences, scheduling code, and the application interface are identified separately in the repository. This is not legal advice, and commercial use of the adapted material would require separate permission from AllSet Learning.
